My Story

Kharielle, founder of The Pink Room

Hi, I’m Kharielle — and welcome to The Pink Room. This is my little corner of the internet where I get to think out loud, share what I’m building, and explore ideas that genuinely excite me. The Pink Room started as a way to bring together everything I care about: strategy, creativity, community, and the belief that there’s always a gap between where things are and where they could be. Whether you’re here out of curiosity or because something resonated, I’m really glad you found your way in.

I started in customer service — 8 years on the front line, learning what actually makes the customer experience work and where consistency matters most. Before my layoff, I was given a unique opportunity to contribute blurbs for their newest AI engine, built to take over tier 1 troubleshooting. That moment sparked something. I realized I didn’t just understand customer service — I understood the infrastructure behind it.

That clarity led me to Amazon, where I joined the onboarding team during the launch of Amazon Shipping. I was surrounded by logistics professionals, but I brought something they didn’t have — 8 years of frontline experience in customer service. I knew the weight of specific verbiage in customer interactions. I understood loyalty language, retention language, and how every word lands differently depending on who’s on the other end. I created training materials, customer-facing blurbs, and built frameworks for how our tier 1 and offshore teams would support customers.

My next chapter was SDR Lead — where I built playbooks that mapped our entire customer journey and told the story of how to translate a prospect’s needs into a qualified shipper. That playbook still lives inside the team today.

When that role ended, I didn’t lose momentum — I gained clarity. I am not just a frontline agent. I am a builder. Someone who stands in the gaps, identifies what’s missing, and creates the solution. I’ve continued sharpening that edge by working alongside small businesses, and I was selected to participate in an AI Leadership program where I put everything I know into my most personal project yet — HerMovement.

HerMovement

While participating in the AI Leadership program, I did what I always do — identified a gap. Working alongside women-owned fitness studios in Chicago, I saw two consistent problems: getting visible to new customers and keeping the ones they already had.

HerMovement is my answer to both.

A women-only fitness platform where consumers can discover and book classes at women-owned studios near them — and where studio owners get the automated marketing tools to attract new customers and nurture the ones already in their corner.

This is one of my proudest builds. And it’s just getting started.

Why The Pink Room?

Pink means softness. And softness is something I think every business owner deserves in their corner.

Not chaos. Not noise. Just genuine, intentional support that actually meets you where you are.

When I think about the businesses I’ve worked with — the small owners, the fitness studios, the teams trying to figure out their process — what they needed most wasn’t another aggressive strategy deck. It was someone who could sit in the gap with them, understand what was broken, and build something that actually helped. Quietly. Effectively. Without making it harder than it had to be.

That’s what this space is. The Pink Room is where strategy feels human, solutions don’t have to be complicated, and the work speaks for itself.

Welcome in.
